Houston 13 Miami 38

Well, that was an interesting game. Something is becoming very evident, no matter how good our defense is we are going to have trouble with spread offenses. When we outclass teams in this huge of a margin in terms of talent, we shouldn't have the trouble in stopping them. It's understandable that FSU can score points on a great defense...hold on, they didn't. If you look at the Houston game and last years West Virginia game you'll see that the spread offense causes us serious trouble. It needs to be addressed, because more teams are going to start implementing that into their system.

Brock was alright...he should have been picked and he fumbled. He got himself sacked a couple of times, but those sacks are much better than picks. The o-line had some trouble and the receivers were dropping a few passes. What saved us? Well, milf was the punter. Brian Monroe has went from a far below average punter, to possibly the best in the country. He pinned Houston inside the 10 yard line 3 times and put them on the 12 once. Giving a team that long of a field against this Miami defense is almost unfair. Special teams were solid again. Hester looks like he can break anything for a TD. Roscoe didn't fair well, but he didn't get a good shot because the 1 punt he had a chance to return fell short and bounced to him. Tyrone Moss stepped up big as well rushing for nearly 150 and 2 TDs. Gore had 1 TD and was rested most of the game.
